[h/t to Kevin] Astronomers are saying that Earth’s climate modellers have accurately predicted Mars’ climate, therefore the models must be accurate for Earth. Anyone else see what’s wrong with this picture? Chime in your thoughts after the jump. From MSNBC via Reuters, natch:

Astronomers say computer models have accurately forecast conditions on Mars and are valid predictors of climate change on Earth.

These computer programs predicted Martian glaciers and other features on Earth’s planetary neighbor, a U.S.-French team of scientists found.
