Tiny Nation, Big Solar

There is an entire nation that has completely dropped conventional electricity production and moved to solar…OK, it’s not Germany or China or Brazil…it’s the tiny, isolated nation north of Samoa called Tokelau, where the population is only 1,411. Isolated as they are, they’ve got good reason to change: shipping-in diesel fuel to make electricity is expensive, and sunshine is free! The changeover is a small but mighty advancement in the use of renewables, and a shining example for the rest of the planet.
