Scott Kinnear of the Safe Food Foundation still has good things to say about the CRIIGEN study according to The Land newspaper:

QUOTE: THE European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has identified “serious defects” in the design and methodology of a controversial paper published by French Professor Giles-Eric Seralini about the effects of glyphosate and genetically modified (GM) corn on rats.
The paper was released in September and generated heated reaction from scientists in Australia and around the globe, after suggesting a link between GM corn and glyphosate and an increased incidence of tumours in rats.
The paper was labelled a publicity stunt by leading Australian plant scientists and biotechnology experts, who also reignited concerns about the media being strategically targeted by anti-GM campaigners to spread misinformation.
Safe Food Foundation (SFF) director Scott Kinnear was one of several anti-GM campaigners who promoted the study’s findings and stood by Prof Seralini’s work in response to scathing criticism of the paper…
… This week, [Mr Kinnear] also raised a number of concerns about the EFSA analysis of the Seralini paper…
But University of Melbourne senior lecturer in food biotechnology and microbiology, agriculture and food systems David Tribe objected to the Foundation’s analysis.

Dr Tribe said the SFF are still ignoring the latest detailed scientific reports provided by the EU government agencies, that show there is no demonstrated dietary effect – deaths, tumours or biochemical changes – on the rats. ENDS.
