Read aguanomics http://www.aguanomics.com/ for the world’s best analysis of the politics and economics of water That’s what I said in “The economy owes ecology an apology” [pdf], an essay that I need to revise and submit in the next week or so.
My thesis is that bad economic models and missing data have contributed to policies that directly harm the environment — and indirectly harm society.
