Win a free copy of the book Best Editorial Cartoons of the Year: 2013 Edition!
For the past 6 years I’d visit my library when Best Editorial Cartoons of the Year (Penguin Press) hit the shelves, and thumb through the greatest hits of editorial cartoons. It was always amusing and informing, and allowed me time to reflect on my own cartooning skills.

I was flattered to find out that one of my cartoons made this year’s edition. To be included alongside some of my favorite cartoonists like Jen Sorensen, Steph McMillan, Matt Bors, and David Fitzsimmons (to name a few) is a true honor. Though, I should mention (so as not to get a big head) I had one cartoon in the book–Jen had 4, Steph 2, Matt 5, and David 4.

The glorious prize for my inclusion was 2 copies of the book (I wonder if that means Matt Bors got 10 copies)! I, however, only need one copy so I am making the other available to the first person (from my site and PlanetSave) who clicks

looks through the cartoons and correctly guesses which of my cartoons–from 2012–made the book. The link is not all of my 2012 cartoons, just some of my favorites. And I’ll give you a hint, it was not a Hank D and the Bee cartoon, nor was it the “Coal Mine” cartoon. The latter was actually from 2011, but re-posted in 2012 for the UCS cartoon contest.

So there ya go. Click that link, or

and let me know which one you think was “Best of” worthy. I’ll share the winner in the comment section and ship the book soon thereafter.

Good luck!
