Tens of thousands still homeless six months after Hurricane Sandy as some areas will take years to fully recover

Six months after Superstorm Sandy devastated the Jersey shore and New York City and pounded coastal areas of New England, the region is dealing with a slow and frustrating, yet often hopeful, recovery. Tens of thousands of people remain homeless. Housing, business, tourism and coastal protection all remain major issues with the summer vacation — and hurricane — seasons almost here again.
No doubt we are in dire times of New Beginnings … one way or the other this old world as we know it will pass away …
For those who have the means to help … I pray they find the heart to do so … yet for those who can’t and are praying souls I… ask that we pray for strength, guidance, patience and endurance for those who are suffering lost of any and every kind …
These are the same deeds and same prayer I would ask for myself…
Because no matter what we face as we all must face this change in one degree or the other … there is hope in moving on in the right direction …
I often think of an old saying by Yoda … “Train yourself to let go… of everything you fear to lose.” … ..
There is a season for all things … and I consider we are indeed in the season to train ourselves in letting go all that is of this world .. and do so as we prepare whole heartedly, and of good consciousness, Good Spirit and of Positive Karma, for the Higher frequency world of Utopia before us … a world where the very Positive atmosphere is a self healing atmosphere …
For now we can only wait watch and pray … and endure to the end of the New Beginning …
