M 4.2 light earthquake shakes Southern Idaho today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake’s epicenter was located 28 km W of Soda Springs and 49 km SE of Pocatello, Idaho. It was 7.0 miles deep.
Following USGS Pager Map, weak shaking of MMI II-III will have felt by the people of Soda Springs, Chubbuck, Bancroft, Downey, Grace, Lava Hot Springs, McCammon, Clarkston, Preston, Pocatello, Fort Hall, Paris, Blackfoot, Idaho Falls, Ammon, Logan and Brigham City.
