Do you ever read about other people doing inspiring things and making positive changes in the world and get a bit envious?

Perhaps you dream of being a changemaker and a leader and an inspirational example to others, but you just can’t seem to get clear on what your passion really is, or maybe you’ve already found your place to make a stand but have lost your spark. Or perhaps the challenges that you face seem too daunting to take on, which keeps you from even beginning.

Where do other people get their passion and their spark from? What drives them to pursue environmental or social good projects and start businesses and organizations that serve a bigger mission than just making a profit? Sometimes it can be helpful to hear about the journeys of other changemakers, especially those that don’t exactly fit the mold of what we consider to be leaders or activists, like 10-year-old blogger and activist Hannah Alper.

Here’s Alper’s presentation at a TEDx event, titled “How to find your spark“:

“Hannah Alper has been called many things: “The future of social media”, “Eco-Warrior”, “Changemaker” and “Activist”. At 10 years old, she is all of these things.”
