Solar Apocalypse Coming! Experts Warn Solar Flare Could Knock Out the Power Grid…
Experts warn that the sun is reaching a volatile tipping point that could lead to catastrophic disaster. According to a joint research study by Lyoyd’s of London and the U.S. Atmospheric and Environmental Research if solar mega storms were to knock out the power grid then the western world could be left in the dark for months to years.
Solar storms are massive explosions in the sun’s atmosphere that can propel large amounts of radiation towards the Earth, if large enough it could pierce our magnetosphere and internally interrupt electrical networks that are reliant on electricity. Considering the U.S.’s power gird is already outdated, we would be in for a world of hurt.
In recent months solar flare activity has skyrocketed and 2014/2015 are looking to be a years of major increases and prospective threats of blackouts. We have already had two scares of potential solar apocalypses that just so happened to miss the Earth…but experts fear we will not always be so lucky.
If earth was hit by an X-class flare, we would be sent back to the dark ages. Our technological advancements would malfunction, factories, pipelines, sewage plants, water delivery, and the economy would collapse and shut down.

The sun is in an historic lull. It has few sunspots, they are weak and barely able to make a CME. The entire “Solar Maximum” has been so quiet that it looks like a minimum.

Weird thing is that this sunspot maximum cycle has gone on for a long time now…it started back in 2009. It ought to be winding down to zero very soon…if not then something very strange is going on in the solar system…

That’s really funny. Everything i’ve read has stated that even though we are in a solar maximum it has been the quietest maximum in over 50 years and even according to Nasa the sun is going to sleep. Not that I believe everything I read, but do you ever notice how many contradictions there are in the “scientific” world? It’s either one way or the other. It can not be both! I think the scientific world is rapidly losing integrity and credibility as it no long promotes science, only agendas.
