  • Let’s be honest folks, we need to stop using fossil fuels for the sake of our children and grandchildren. But, it’s hard! I own a truck, for towing my trailer, that just drinks gas. I’m looking forward to an electric car (someday when I can afford one). Does solar work? Yes it does, I have not had a power bill since I put solar on my roof (7 years ago).

I lived near the Laughlin Coal Fire Power Plant for 20 years (lucky for me I was upwind) and that thing put out a lot of fumes, the occasional blast, a lot of sulfur and heat. It’s now shut down and that has helped the haze in the Grand Canyon.

We also need to get rid of nuclear while we can. We are already fighting a nuclear war with Fukushima; when will we learn? We really need to create large solar/wind farms to power our future. We also need electromagnetic raised trains above all our current train tracks, this way we can transport people and goods without pollution.

I could go on but this is something a new president should focus on along with rebuilding our entire infrastructure.
