Magnitude 5.5 strong tremor rattled western and central Nepal as aftershocks counted 434 after 2015 deadly earthquake.
According to Nepal Seismological Center, the epicenter was near Panch Khuwa Deurali -9  of Gorkha district and occurred at 11:54 Sunday night.

Seismological Centers in India, Europe and United States have mentioned magnitude 5.0 in western Nepal. However, Governmental portal has confirmed magnitude 5.5 from its seismic station located in Gorkha.
The tremor was well felt in Kathmandu valley, Pokhara, Chitwan, Butwal among others. People immediately rushed out of their houses at midnight. No preliminary damage or injuries have been reported.
Atleast 4.4 aftershocks of magnitude 4 or greater have rattled Nepal since April 2015 Gorkha earthquake. Around 8,778 people died in the disaster.
This is the second aftershock of magnitude 5.5 in 2016. Earlier, magnitude 5.5 aftershock jolted Sindhupalchowk in first week of this month claiming life of a person in India and injuring 66 in Nepal.
