Moderate earthquake in Big Pine, CA today: February 16, 2016

Earthquake epicenter map of Big Pine, California
Magnitude 4.8 moderate earthquake rattled Central California at 03:04 pm Tuesday afternoon, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported. 
According to USGS, the epicenter was located 10 km WNW of Big Pine and was located a shallow depth of 9.8 miles.
Light shaking of MMI IV will have been felt by the people of Big Pine, Bishop, West Bishop and Dixon Lane-Meadow Creek. Similarly, people of Mammoth Lakes, Lone Pine, Sanger, Reedley, Dinuba, Parlier and Selma.

No damage or injuries have been reported.
Earlier, magnitude 3.9 light earthquake rattled Southern California. The quake's epicenter was located 5km NNW of Big Bear City at a very shallow depth of 1.2 miles.
