Law must be public!

Here at Nimonik, we believe that all legal obligations should be freely accessible in an open and machine readable digital format. Today, too many industrial standards referenced in law remain behind costly paywalls or outdated technology. In addition to this, certain countries and states still charge for access to laws or regulations!

With the power of the internet, there is no reason why we cannot distribute information on regulatory obligations in a free and open format. We wrote about this important issue last year and today we would like to share with you a very important article about an amazing activistCarl Malamud.

Read on about his fight to set standards, codes and laws free for everyone to access, here.
