Typhoon Megi triggers flooding in east China’s coastal city (CCTV Plus)
September 29, 2016: Typhoon Megi (Typhoon Helen in Philippines) has claimed lives of a least five people and caused damage worth $31.9 million.
At least four died across Taiwan, while more 625 others have been injured by the disaster. The typhoon left at least one person dead in China.

According to the Xinhua News Agency, at least 27 people have been missing after a massive landslide hit part of a village in the eastern Zhejiang Province.

Nearly 300 flights have been cancelled across several airports in Taiwan.
Megi made landfall over Hui’an County of Quanzhou, China at 20:40 UTC on September 27, 2016.
Typhoon Megi has affected several areas of Caroline Islands, Ryukyu Islands, Taiwan, East and South China
This You Tube video uploaded by CCTV News shows the dramatic strength of Typhoon Megi in the city of Taipei as fridges and other domestic appliances were seen “running” out of a house and down the road.
