Greenpeace activists and local volunteers complete the construction of a dam to halt drainage on the peatland canals as part of their “Climate Defender Camp” at Kampar Peninsula and display a banner reading “Climate Change Stops Here”. The Camp was built to bring urgent attention to the role that deforestation plays in driving dangerous climate change.
