March 24, 2017: Deadly floods triggered after heavy rainfall in Angola have claimed lives of at least 11 people and left thousands homeless.
Heavy rainfall hit northern parts of Angola between Tuesday afternoon and Thursday destroying about 700 houses.

Around 76mm rainfall was recorded in just over 24 hours in Luanda, the capital city of Angola.
