The destruction of classical education means the concept of ‘standard of evidence’ is not understood: Links 1 on Feb. 22 – 2015
The topic is the end point of my personal curiosity as to why people no longer, perhaps if they ever could, interpret what they see into evidence. One would expect that everyone by now would have some decent notion of the facts of Islam and leftism.

(I see a lot of future Nobel Peace Prize winners in this group. Because by the time they are adults it will likely be the Nobel religion of peace prize and be awarded for quality of jihad)
2. No hate crime charges for Detroit Muslim who stabbed 2 after asking them their religion
(There are at least two significant reasons not to have thought crimes in a free nation. One is that there already is in law, a significant margin for a judge to factor in motive when passing sentence for a crime. But the other is that thought crimes are made for selective enforcement. Thanks mostly to Islam and leftist identity politics concerning dark skinned people, the thought-crime elements of a charge seem to be applied one way and without regard to the facts of a given case. Parking disputes become a hate crime and stabbing people for being non muslims are not Etc.)
A Michigan prosecutor has declined to charge a Detroit Muslim with a hate crime after allegedly stabbing two other individuals at a bus stop because of religious differences.
The defendant, Terrence Lavaron Thomas, 39 and a Muslim, “asked the victims what religion they were” before he reportedly stabbing them, Nick Loussia, Deputy Chief of Police for the Southfield Police Department told Michigan Live.
3. It would appear the Saudi funded outreach, more accurately the Saudi operated Islamic injection site, is running into problems due to lashing of bloggers in the Kingdom while it peddles tolerance of Islam in Austria.
(The headline is ludicrous as is the idea that doing something that one of the billions of people who ever lived would like that thing they win. But overall there is more rational thought than I expected)
5. Oslo synagogue ‘peace ring’ organizer blamed Jews for 9/11
(Apparently the idiot rabbi of the mosque also screamed allah hu ackbar. Optics has clearly trumped reality and history)
6. Interesting CNN guest, the author of the now nearly seismic Atlantic article, who tilts towards the Islamic State being authentically islamic. While this is not living fully in reality, for CNN this is at least checking out the view from the bridge to it.
7. Islamic ‘radicals’ at the heart of Whitehall
Baroness Warsi, the first Muslim woman to sit in Cabinet, handed official posts to people linked to Islamist groups, including a man involved in an “unpleasant and bullying” campaign to win planning permission for the controversial London “megamosque” proposed by a fundamentalist Islamic sect.
He sits – alongside other radicals or former radicals and their allies – on a “cross-Government working group on anti-Muslim hatred” set up by Lady Warsi and Nick Clegg, the Deputy Prime Minister.
Some members of the group are using their seats at the table to urge that Whitehall work with Islamist and extremist-linked bodies, including one described by the Prime Minister as a “political front for the Muslim Brotherhood”.
8.Mogadishu hotel suicide bombers were Dutch – Somalia
Somali intelligence believe both suicide bombers – a man and a woman – were Dutch-Somali citizens who infiltrated the Central Hotel close to the presidential palace ahead of the attack.
Sources within the Somali National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) said the man, identified as Ismail Muse, exploded a bomb in a car parked at the hotel while the woman, Lula Ahmed Dahir, detonated her explosive vest inside the hotel’s prayer room.
The woman “worked part time in the hotel for up to four months,” according to an intelligence report seen by AFP.
