What an invasion would look like
From the center of a chaotic nightclub, a nameless wanderer in a tuxedo and top hat weaved his way to the front of the crowd closest to the DJ. He pulled the top hat off to reveal elegant blond hair to match his iceberg cold and colored eyes. As he held the top hat perpendicular to the dance floor; it sprouted eight titanium spider legs.
The top hat sprawled momentarily like a newborn mammal before launching itself at the DJ’s face; stinging him to death with a proboscis that sprouted from the underside of its body. Soon the mechanical spider hijacked the turntables and released ear piercing commands towards the audience of stunned and drugged bystanders. The spider hat demanded began hissing and clicking.
The nameless blond-haired, blue eyed wanderer walked to the front of the stage and faced everybody with a half faced smirk. He picked the top hat up and with a flick of his wrist a creature detached from the underside like a five foot tall bionic daddy long legs. It was then the mechanical arachnid spit a terribly sticky glowing green web, covering the heads of all the standing club goers. With a few buzzes and a click from the nameless man, the web electrified and all those ensnared; who suddenly lost their minds.
