What can you do when the person you love is suffering, but doesn’t want your help?
This heartwarming short film made me think about what really matters in life. We try to consider what we have to offer others that they would appreciate, but often the answer is as simple as the phrase in the film:
I know he loves me because every time I head off to work, I feel him watching me leave.
Blind Devotion was made by Jubilee Project, and is the second in a series of two short films about unconditional love made in partnership with Pastor Francis Chan and his latest book, You and Me Forever. The book can be purchased at http://bit.ly/1G8Qbnu.
Besides being a moving story, it can also serve to help others, and act as a wonderful gift to teach us how to support each other better.
All proceeds from the book sales are going toward fighting poverty in Africa, on projects like building a safe haven village for young women rescued out of prostitution.
True love is more than a feeling, it is an action.
