In the mood for something different? I have just the thing to trip you out. It’s a series of surreal animations by a mysterious tumblr user named volvulent. Despite minimalistic design, these black and white gifs are quite complex and fluid in motion. Loosely morphing forms, often without closed shapes, flow in seamless cycles with smooth movements that meld into a loop with ease. It takes us back to the days when animation was done with pencil and paper, one sheet at a time.
