It's been a little while since we've shared random doodles from a sketchbook. To remedy that immediately, I bring you: Anton Marrast. His sketchbook has tons of intriguing two-page spreads that I'm having a good time trying to make sense of. It feels like looking at a stream of consciousness with no context. The drawings really give off an air of unplanned wandering with a pen over paper, an offbeat imagination doing its thing with whatever comes to mind. Ethereal visuals are wound together and overlapping with realistic ones, as if that’s the only way it makes sense to draw them.
