(Before It's News)

Creativity is born from our ability to trust ourselves, our vision, and the process that gets us there. Check out the creative process of Thomas Cian from Italy and see how his drawings fall together, progressively becoming more realistic by adding (and erasing) pencil strokes in certain areas. His interesting usage of light on the subject really makes them pop out at you, giving the portraits a three dimensional feel. I especially appreciate those fine details hidden around the neck area of each subject that create a different effect for the way each of them flows onto the page. The presentation of his creative process is not only extremely inspiring, but it's also incredibly helpful to others who wish to create a similar effect (He even uploads a picture of all of the tools he used!) The world would be a better place if all artists shared their creative process like Thomas.
