(Before It's News)

Browsing through Bagger43's tumblr, I instantly fell in love with his style. These colorful, pop-culture inspired portraits jumped out at me because of their heavy contrast with his predominantly black and white artwork. These portraits have such a unique feeling due to the color palette and the line work. The watercolors are transparent while maintaining their vibrancy, and I noticed that there is no hard black outlines around the figures. His bold and heavy blocks of color combined with eye-catching patterns are sure to leave a lasting impression. He uses the same color around the edges to fill in the entire image, and he strategically uses the white of the page to create highlights that bring the entire piece together.
