Well isn’t this special… I get to tie together the greatest football game of our time with Reality TV again. This is a good sign, people!
So my secret boyfriend, “American Idol” season 9 champ, and reason for Mount Prospect to still exist, Lee DeWyze, is rumored to be singing the National Anthem at Sunday’s NFC Championship Game at Soldier Field.
Nobody has really confirmed it yet, but according to Lee’s spilling the beans all over the Twitter, his management basically saying, “yes,” and all that good stuff, it looks like ol’ Weezenator is going to do the whole, “Local boy done good sending off his team” thing. Which is cool. I miss my Weezy. We haven’t seen much of him since his album dropped, and that Crystal Fox in Socks girl is kicking his butt up and down in sales.
Yay, Lee. You better not be a curse to the Bears…
