Have the ‘Real Housewives of DC’ Been Canned?

Relax, people. This story is coming to you live from thing that should not be, Radar Online, and let’s not forget that only a few days ago they also had an EXCLUSIVE that Charlie Sheen was coming back to ‘Two and a Half Gigolos’ and they’ve been back-pedaling ever since.
So they’re saying that the ‘Real Housewives of DC’ a show nobody even cares about without the ‘White House Gate Crashers’ is getting canned by Bravo because the Salahi’s are gone, and watching Lynda Erkiletian drink scotch all day isn’t riveting entertainment. Those women are incredibly boring and not nuts enough to carry a show.
On paper it makes sense. We were all praying for that show to finally end after the first season, the housewives themselves never really connected on a fan level…not to mention, the Salahi’s kind of cooked that show’s goose. Still, it’s not as bad as that stinkfest of horrible people, Miami, but it’s still pretty bad.
No official word yet from Bravo, but I don’t think anything is going to come out after the abysmal failure of Miami. DC is just going to get swept under the rug. Rumor has it that the new line up of programming, especially ‘The Chris March Project’ is going to make us all forget anyway. They’re also expanding the ‘Tabatha’ brand, and there’s so much buzz going on about these new projects that they won’t have to saturate the schedule with horrible Housewives programming to fill the voids anymore.
So what do you think? Do you even care? I kind of don’t. Like Miami, I just couldn’t get into DC, best of luck to all the ladies, of course…we only need OC, Beverly Hills, New York, Atlanta and Jersey anyway. And there’s also the off-chance this story is a plant anyway to see if people actually care.
