Ukraine Darth Vader Runs for President
A man who dresses in the costume of the Star Wars character, who’s electoral promise was to turn the Ukraine into a “a galactic empire” has had his presidential application turned down by The Ukrainian Central Electoral Commission, because they thought that parts of the potential, Ukrainian galactic emperor, were in their words “questionable”
Viktor Shevchenko, who can regularly be seen marching through the streets of Kiev with his own storm troopers, changed his name to ‘Darth Vader’ last March and was nominated for the presidency of the Ukraine, by the Internet Party of Ukraine who paid 2.5m hryvnyas ($227,000), the deposit which all potential presidential contenders have to pay in order to get an application form.
