Ted And The Donald May Be Bad But…
Down through the years the Republicans have
Given us bum after bum
Harding and Hoover and Reagan and Nixon and W
Ad nauseum
(And this is just to name some)
While some were just bad and some more inept
And some like Bush two a disgrace
The wonder to me
Is how the hell they could be
All elected in the very first place
As long as we have our heads up our tush
We’ll elect more morons like W Bush
And now again we can choose a real stinker
A guy no one likes
Who’d stick heads up on pikes
And a carnival barker hoodwinker

But way more than Cruz or than Trump
It’s the garden variety chump
(The antithesis of any thinker)
Who hears all the con
From weasels like Ted ‘n Don
And swallows it hook line and sinker
(You know – I’m really not sure which is greater
Their I.Q. – or the I.Q. of a potater)
So… the party of the angry white men
In Des Moines will all rally again
To have their fears stoked
By these two grade A jokes
The anti-Christ shitting the anti-Zen
They will all be in their Sunday best
Sheets and hoods clean and all freshly pressed
Ted ‘n Don’s base you bet
‘N they’re as base as it gets
Paranoia and hate in excess
Ted ‘n Don – the Republican’s finest
Meet the dumbest, the deafest, the blindest
Who love country and flag
Down to beat up some fag
They’re the meanest, the squarest, the unkindest
So certain they must seal the border
Lest a Mexican come rape their daughter
Or do a job we need done
Like picking crops in the sun
Or mow your lawn or mop a floor as a porter
And Trump – plain to see what’s his need
The adulation – that’s his ego feed
Him I don’t blame at all
I blame these rubes in his thrall
Who watch Fox ‘n move their lips when they read
These jackasses who all say they do
Bleed only the red white and blue
But it’s yellow that flows
Thru their veins head to toes
Scared of anything different or new
On Tuesday you were in Marshalltown
Jerking all of your yahoos around
Their ugliness reared
As they yelled and they cheered
As they swallowed the swill you laid down
(And the hypocrites march on
All pretense is now gone
Christians for Trump – holy shit!
Falwell the playah
Who gets answers from prayer
Endorses Trump! – God, are they full of it!)
WAIT! STOP THE PRESSES!
We now hear some Iowans’re shit outta luck
Don’s skipping the Des Moines’ gath’ring of schmucks
Oh what will Fox do
Without Donald to
Help them rake in those big ad-buy bucks
Yet I do not fault Teddy or Trump
They are what they are – it’s that chump
Who thinks in the box
Gets the “news” outta Fox
Who has caused all our woes from the jump
In the long line of Republican con
They’re just the latest practitioners – Ted ‘n Don
‘N after all of this time
If you still buy their slime
You deserve to all be shat upon
