Noted below are brief responses to 12 common question  regarding well-known phrases and terms.  The commentary and Scripture references will assist in determining what phrases/terms/teachings/doctrines  have a clear foundation in Scripture, and which were popularized by notable, secular poets and writers.  The goal of this study is twofold:    1) to assist in understanding what is, and what is not in the Bible  and    2) to prompt believers to not just generally know whatthey believe, but to also know why they believe it, and be able to make a biblically sound argument for the important tenants of faith.
