(Before It's News)

Another day and another great innovation gets unleashed. Being an Android site has its perks and its moments of sadness. What you are about to see and watch of course is directed straight to the iPad and iPhone users in our community. You don’t have to be ashamed of it or afraid to say you have both. As Simon has pointed out many times, he has a WP7 device and an iPod touch. Technology is technology and we all love to see what is out and about.

The product is called YetYet and YetX. Both are similarly designed, super soft and safe monsters of sorts. The plush toy houses either your iPhone or iPad safely with small windows for the eyes and the interactive section. He can play songs, repeat voice interactions with various effects and even be a cyclops. He responds to touch and loves it when his hair is brushed. He is the ultimate toddler toy accessory to keep your kids entertained, safe and allows then to play with your expensive toys with minimal fear.

They also have a robot version of the toy as well. Different design with the classic pixels we all remember growing up.

I do have to hand it to Apple, there is a reason why they have so many accessories readily available for their devices. The straight forward OS and consistent size and design makes it pretty easy to make a product that can be enjoyed by all. We emailed them to see if an Android app was in the works or a thought. We fully expect them to say ‘Nope.’ With so many Android devices floating around of different shapes and sizes, something like this would need to be almost device specific. It is still a pretty amazing idea. Take a look at the video below of the little guy in action.

Has anyone seen anything like this for us parents with Android devices only? I’d love to let my son play with my phone more, but I can’t risk a drop or an accidental call to China.

If you are interested in see price tags and diving further into the YetYet or YetX, pop on over to totyacreatures.

Thanks for sending this over Randy. It is nice to see what else is out there.
