IN SPITE OF HEAVY SECURITY PRESENCE AND USE OF FORCE SYRIANS ARE DEMONSTRATING ACROSS SYRIA

Aleppo. A demonstration erupted in Manbaj district but was met immediately with violence using batons. The chants were for regime change and in support of Dara’a and Banias. And another one started in the Fardous district and was met with violence by Assad’s security men, Also new demonstration in the Mashhad and Salah Eddine districts. These are FOUR new districts that never demonstrated before.

Damascus. A demonstrating in the Muhajereen district was met with violence after the worshippers exited the Shamsyeh Mosque, almost immediately 10 Syrians chanting for freedom were detained. Traffic from the Midan district has been blocked to all traffic, which is an ominous sign the security men are about to commit another massacre. This Video shows the people leaving the Mosque chanting in preparation to their rally. Also a new demonstration just started from the Mazzeh district as well as the Kaboon district where unconfirmed reports cite one dead from live ammunition fired at the demonstrators. .

Homs. A Video of a demonstration just started in this besieged town. Another demonstration is also underway in the the Hawlah district.  RPS received information that live ammunition has been fired the Khalidieh District Cairo street and in Bab Siba’h area. This Video was taken before fire erupted. There was another demonstration reported in al-Wae’r district as well.

Latakya. Security men attacked worshippers as they exited the Dardaryeh Mosque. They were not even demonstrating when the security men savagely attacked them. The demonstrators have been fired upon in the Raml al-Falastini district.

Al-Dameer. In the outskirts of Douma. this is a new town that is joining the Revolution. They were met with more violence by the “shabbeeha” using batons. For the first time, we also see women joining the Revolution in force with about 500 attending this demonstration.

Akrab. A town north of Homs. A Video showing the demonstrations that started today. This is the first time this town erupts.

Basr al-Sham. First time this town erupts in support of Dara’a.

al-Katna. A large demonstration just started from the Alaynni Mosque in the Sirian Square in spite of heavy security presence.

Harassta. A demonstration just started from the Hassan Mosque with the people chanting ‘Down with the Regime”.

Dara’a. Its citizens challenged the authority’s ban on attending Friday’s prayers. Heavy fire can be heard across the border in Jordan.

Hama. A Video of a small demonstration that started  It has since gathered momentum. Syrians are starting to wear masks to hide their identities as illegal detentions have become so rampant. The new chant in Hama “Hamwai, listen, listen women’s blood is not for sale”, This is in reference to killing of 3 women in Banias in cold blood by Assad’s thugs. RPS is told the demonstrators converged from 10 different Mosques now and are heading to the A’asi Square. This Video shows its intensity increasing.

Idlib. Several demonstrations are underway in this city connected to Aleppo through history and family connections. The regime has not used violence against it like the other cities for fear Aleppo may erupt. The people there are taking advantage of this weakness. A Video of one of the first demonstrations.

Al-Barzeh. Suburbs of Damascus. A large demonstration just erupted.

Ifreen. New demonstrations just started in this Kurdish region north of Syria located in Aleppo’s countryside.

Qamoshli. A Video from today’s demonstration with Syrians chanting “Freedom, Freedom”.

Al-Boukamal. A Video of today’s demonstration in this Syrian town on the Iraqi borders.

al-Tall. A demonstration just erupted in this town north of Damascus with Syrians chanting in support of Dara’a and Banias. Security men have met them with barbaric violence.

Ain-al-Arab/Kobani. A Video showing people continue to demonstrate.  have been detained.

Darya. Tear gas and heavy gun fire were used to disperse a crowd that gathered to demonstrate.

Madaya. A large demonstration is underway and there is a heavy presence of security who are firing in the air to scare the crowd. But the demonstrators, RPS is told, keep challenging the security by their chants in support of Dara’a and Banias.

Al-Silmieh. Thousands are out in force and Facebook dissidents have described their numbers by saying “It’s like an ant colony”.

Amouda. a Video of a demonstration that started in this Kurdish town in north of Syria. One of the chants says “Our Revolution is led by our youth”.

Ibta’h. In the Hawran region. A demonstration just erupted in support of Dara’a even though there is heavy presence of tanks and the town was ordered not to attend the Mosques on Fridays.

Russia. The country just warned against outside interference. It knows this regime is about to fall and is coming quickly to its aid.
