Syrians are on the Move (279)
The Savagery of Assad. A Video of a Syrian tank (Probably one of those who ran backwards during the 1973 War with Israel) is seen running over an injured or a dead Syrian. Not once but twice. This is Assad for the world to see using tanks to smash people with.
Alawites. An officer of the army escaped to Europe and in an interview with Saudi Arab Times, he said that only 20% of the Alawites support Assad. The other 80% do not. He said there are 200 Alawite officers who have refused to fire on protestors. Bravo.
Moarat an-Numan and Kafarnabl. Large demonstrations are underway. Security men are rushing to the location. The city has been sealed off completely and it won’t be long before the massacres start and Robert Malley endorses, again, Assad like his little protégé brother. What butchery?
Talkalkh. 27 bodies have been discovered in this suburb of Homs tying it to the Lebanese borders. There is no stopping Assad’s killing machine.
Sectarianism. RPS refuses to accept the notion that this is a war against Muslim Sunnis. This is a war against ALL the people of Syria by savage people who ascended to power.
Homs. A Video of a small demonstration against the regime. Right after this video was shot, armed “shabbeeha” thugs fired live ammunition on the crowd. Also, unconfirmed reports that mutinies in the Syrian army have clashed with political security elements that resulted in the death of five security men.
Deir el-Zour. A demonstration started this morning but immediately was met with violence and live ammunition. Injuries are expected.
Erdogan. He tells US Ambassador in Turkey that Assad should stay.
Kuwaiti MPs. Insist on severing diplomatic ties with Damascus.
