I’ve had enough reality for this week.
I know the feeling.
But we are only on the viewing end of this madness for the time being and we need to carefully consider what those who are actually on the receiving end feel like. That we reap what we sow is not just a trivial observation; it’s a reality.
This is who America is, we can change this.

Patriot…I toured the Palestinian camps in 1984. My Palestinian guide hosted me in his home, probably because I was Press, and he hoped for some representation of conditions when I returned home. His home was nice for the area, but sparsely furnished. He said when the Israel occupied Palestine, they took everything of value from anyone…cash, jewelry, furniture… His family had been upper middle class. He was now a tour guide, scraping by. He took me to the Palestinian encampments where thousands of Palestinians had been forced from their homes, now a breeding ground for terrorism as children became teens in families living in 8×12 mud cubicles, with no coverings on the the 2x 3 foot openings on two sides that served as windows… We didn’t go to war with Iraq because of weapons of mass destruction…we went as the first leg of continuing to Afganistan to run a pipeline through the Caspian sea, in order to bypass Russia in the lucrative supply of oil to Europe, and dor the opium trade to finance black ops throught the world. Islam is a religion of death? Did they start the crusades? Have they killed millions of civilians since 2001? Do they use cowardly drones to wipe out families and wedding parties? Let them live in the 12th Century, where they prefer to live anyway?
Dear-y before we bombed civilians and military alike into the 12 century (oh, the Shock and Awe of it!) Iraq had electricity. They had fresh water. They had hospitals and schools. Now they have depleted uranium and cancer, amputees, burned children…and yes, hate. Now, in this country when you try to shield your head when police are clubbing you, it’s called resisting arrest. Are you saying sovereign people of the world should not resist being killed? You refer to Indians on “reservations” as if those food and medically deprived early forced prison camps and “The Trail of Tears” on the trek to them where hundreds of thousands died was not genocide. Or are you saying genocide is fun or at least necessary? What ARE you saying? None of the Wars just listed were necessary. The Indians had already surrendered, but rose up only when their “treaties” were worthless. Iraq had no WMD and in an interview with Dan Rather two weeks before we invaded, he referred to his complete openness to inspections in the past and in the future and to his Peaceful stance toward the U.S., but stated that as the leader of a country sovereign for thousands of years, he would not run. He faced hanging like a man. If you can simply detach from the talking points…and begin to think independently from point A to point B, Logic might bring you to a more humane view of what you think you deserve as a world citizen. If you don’t., as a citizen of a country bent on murderous conquest, you will “get yours,” as we all will.

IRHologram, thank you for talking about your experience in Palestine. Americans need to know what Israel is doing to those people and what America and Israel are doing to so many innocents across the world. Many say that that the Mossad was behind 911 with the Bush Administration. The more I read about it, the more it appears to be true. The internet is shining the light on all the evil and that is something I bet the elite did not count on happening as fast and with as much energy as it has. You cannot hide the truth forever.
And as Alex Jones says the NWO hates Americans more than they do Iraqis.
I think this is much closer to reality than the BS that we are bringing Democracy to the world or fighting Islamic terrorism. The Arab world would have no interest in the US if we were not over there creating them as enemies.
Of course the US is an empire and empires take the resources of other nations through force; that is reality.

I love to be able to read a post that allows me to really FEEL the passion of the writer. Passionate well written articles, even if they’re slanted to one side or another, shows me the level of intensity as well as the commitment to research they have done. Obama said in 08, he would talk to them. That was his foreign policy. He was given the Noble Peace Prize for his up coming peace for the world. Now look what we got. Middle East hates Obama and the USA. We are in the worst danger I have ever seen. We got oil. We need to bring these troops home to secure the homeland and use our on reserves here. We have shown we have the best in this country to survive our needs and we can do it.

I’m certainly no defender of Obama or his policies!! Millions of Muslims are peaceful and wonderful people who only wish to live in peace. However Islam is NOT! I would think that you would love Obama as he his policies have been anti-Israel and pro Islamic Brotherhood!
I think that Obama’s ridiculous insistence that Islam is a religion of peace in the face of the steady deluge of overwhelming evidence to the contrary is not only delusional, but also extremely dangerous to the US and the rest of the civilized world!
Personally I agree with some of what you had to say up to a point. I think that Israel has been a divisive force in the Middle East and have strong-armed the Palestinians and taken the lands that they have lived on for thousands of years. As such I have a fairly high degree of empathy for their plight.
However their violence and barbarism, ubiquitous to Islam, keeps me from supporting them. It is difficult to fault the Israeli people for acting against those who blow up buses and lob rockets into their midst. As much as I don’t like that the Israelis have taken over Palestinian territory and the tactics they have used, I find them less offensive then the barbarians that surround them.
On the note that America kills innocent women and children; this is true but not by intent. War is a horrible thing and should not be engaged in lightly because of this. Sadly, innocent victims die in conflict, they always have and probably always will.
The US is unique in that we have the ability and the will to drastically reduce the number of civilian deaths during these conflicts. Yes, civilians still do die but not on the scales of all wars in the past… and yes, it always extremely tragic when innocent’s lives are lost.
I think that evil still exists in the World and probably always will. Sometimes to defeat this evil the military must be used. However I would agree with you once again that his has happened too frequently in the past and has only resulted in death and destruction with very little good gained.
Although I think that the treatment of American Indians at times in our past is one of the dark stains on our history (the other being slavery), I do not necessarily think that the policy of restricting tribes to reservations in and of itself was terrible. The inevitable conflicts between the tribes (some of them) and settlers resulted in the deaths of many on both sides.
This carnage would have continued had this solution not been reached and the Native populations would have been wiped out completely! However, It is extremely sad that their cultures and traditions where not kept more in tact during this difficult period and that treaties were not honored more.
Islamic Middle Eastern countries are a constant source of violence and conflict with the rest of the World…and themselves. Perhaps considering those countries to be a reservation is not such a bad idea. Simply strip them of their technology and let them live in the 12th century, where their culture seems to be stuck at, might be a great solution. They can live how they want to without interference from, or endangerment to, the outside World. Look at it like a big regional reservation if you will. They don’t kill us, and we don’t have to kill them. A win-win for everyone.
