Increasingly the true story of how the terrorist attacks in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012 have become shrouded in mystery. These were the attacks with mortars and guns that killed four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. In addition the United States consulate in Benghazi was burned along with a safe house. President Obama and his reelection campaign team vigorously had stated that it was a protest against an anti-Islamic movie that got out of control and led to the deaths. He again decried the video in his speech to the United Nations in September 2012.
