ISRAEL AND THE COMING WAR WITH IRAN

(Before It's News)

Further to my last post wondering if Israel might launch a pre-emptive unilateral attack against Iran before the gulf between Israel and the US over Iran’s nuclear program gets to a point of no return, it should be pointed out – as some commentators have – that there is unlikely to be any attack against Iran while the current round of talks between Iran and the so-called P5+1 alliance are still underway. Talks are scheduled to restart on 10 November 2013 after a break that allows the parties to consider their next moves.
Once the talks are over, however, if the outcome of the talks hasn’t satisfied Netanyahu who is demanding that Iran dismantles all of its nuclear facilities, then he might feel that this maybe the only opportunity he’ll have to attack Iran with any hope of the US, no matter how reluctantly, getting on board to help the Israelis in their fight against Iran. Netanyahu may take a chance and attack in the hope that Obama will consider it fait accompli and be left with no option other than to support Israel by launching its own attacks against Iran.
However, if as an outcome of the talks Obama expresses satisfaction with whatever deal they come up with about Iran’s nuclear program and then states that as far as the US is concerned, provided Iran keeps to its end of the deal, the crisis is over, then it’s all over for Netanyahu too – which means Netanyahu will have to act quickly after the talks are concluded if he wants the US to help Israel fight Iran.

  • From time to time the U.S. has let down its allies. This is one time for the government
to stand back and watch Israel, with a population of one-tenth that of Iran, take the
    beating it has long deserved.
At some point, preferably soon, Israel is going to have to seek peace with its neighbors.
That point is fast approaching. The Israelis will terminate Netanyahu and seek peace.
It is either that or accept extinction.

    • Neo

How do you create peace with those who are sworn to destroy you? It isn’t Israel who is opposed to peace, as you would know if you had done any study of history whatsoever. Your ignorance is astounding. The US will abandon Israel and they (Israel) will face annihilation until they return to YHWH.

    • Iran has vehemently hated Israel from the beginning of time and they are sworn to destroy Israel at every opportunity… Should Iran ever get Nuclear Weapons then the entire region will be held hostage by them… Egypt, Jordan and even Saudi Arabia will be targeted by Iran and virtually all of the Middle Eastern neighboring countries are terrified of that thought… The world knows the truth about Iran and Israel regardless of the spin in the media. Iran MUST be stopped from gaining Nuclear Weapons and just because Israel has them is not a viable response from Tehran… Israel is not threatening any of it’s neighbors with Nuclear Annihilation such as Iran is doing… The Iranian People do NOT want another war, they only want peace and the ability to have good jobs, plenty of food on their tables and the ability of self determination (something they do not presently have)…
