As we all new, even before the results of the Crimean referendum were officially announced, the first thing that the President of the Russian Confederation Mr, Vladimir Putin would do after it was officially announced, is to declare Crimea as a sovereign nation, thus thumbing his nose at the rest of the world. We also new in all reality that pro Russian troops, under the control of the very relaxed Mr Putin had in fact been in control of Crimea since last month, or for that matter, much longer. With this in mind, we now look at not what the western powers will do, but in fact just what the President of the Russian Federation will do over the next few weeks. A leader who at this time seems to be holding all the cards and has obviously been planning this for quite sometime.
