Scenes of utter despair and terror would have greeted you if you were on the streets of Gaza yesterday, Sunday 19^th July, horrific scenes of dead elderly women and children littering the streets, scenes of desperate medics, who, while choking on the acrid plumes of thick black smoke still hanging in the air from the constant Israeli shelling, desperately trying to pull Gaza dead and wounded, (most of them civilians) from the devastated ruins of their houses and apartments.
