On Monday, July 21, 2014, the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development forced the owners of My Family Co-Op to dump nearly $5,000 of milk, eggs, butter and cream. No warning was given to her that she may be in violation with her herd share program that offered organic real foods to many families in the Michigan area.
Organizations like Real Milk offer information about the farmers that are still willing to go the extra mile to offer raw milk products to consumers.
This from Hill High Dairy (My Family Co-Op), which produced the food, and where it was dumped: “100 dozen eggs… Each egg had to be broken. 248 gallons dumped in a sprayer that had to be witnessed by MDA being dumped and sprayed on the field.”
Here they are crushing eggs in the cartons, and not being allowed to even feed their pigs with them.In this one, you can hear the MDARD inspector explain view that My Family Co-Op is re-selling food and thus needs a food handler’s license. (Explanation begins at about 2:06 of the video.)
In 2006, Michigan threw it’s weight around with raw milk farmer, Richard Hebron, when they confiscated and disposed of $8,000 of raw milk and forced him to pay a $1,000 fine as well. This was the first shot over the bow stating that Michigan was watching and would be willing to take out anyone who tried to provide real milk to those who wanted it. Updated information on the outcome of this case can be found on the real milk website. CLICK HERE to read the rest of this story on Stepping Stones Living…

How is it that these corporate thugs can get away with it? They have no legal authority, power or jurisdiction as a corporation over sovereign people without our consent.
Back in the 50′s and 60′s ‘MEN’ knew how to handle these problems.
Most WW 2 vets still do.
Maybe they need to start giving classes.
Corporations are now the authorities of the land. Are we going to allow it to remain that way? Or to get WORSE?
