“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 (KJV)
EDITOR’S NOTE: Tim Tebow is back in the NFL, and back with him will be the usual media circus that surrounds his every move. But what will also be with him is the Lord Jesus Christ, opening doors to be a witness for Him in these last days. We congratulate Tim on never giving up until he reached his goal of getting back in the NFL. On a personal note, I got saved from watching NFL football and seeing all those John 3:16 signs the camera constantly pans to show during breaks. One day I got me a King James Bible, opened it up to John 3:16, and read it for myself. I am eternally glad I did. Go get ‘em, Tim, good job.
Philadelphia, PA – FOXSports’ Jay Glazer first reported the story on Sunday evening. The signing would reunite Tebow with fellow signal-caller Mark Sanchez, whom he played with on theNew York Jets in 2012. The Eagles also acquiredSam Bradford via trade this offseason, sending Nick Foles to the St. Louis Rams in the deal. The team also traded running back LeSean McCoy to the Buffalo Bills, and leading receiver Jeremy Maclin signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in free agency.
Tebow worked as a college football analyst for ESPN last season. His last NFL work was before the 2013 season, when he participated in training camp with the New England Patriots.
Tebow first rose to NFL fame in the 2011 season with the Broncos in which he lead the team to a playoff victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was Denver’s first-round pick in 2010 following a decorated college career at Florida.
In three seasons, Tebow completed 173 of 361 passes for 2,422 yards, 17 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. source
