Beware Of The New Hebrew Roots Cepher ‘Bible’ Translation

(Before It's News)

Enoch, Jasher, the “missing” 29th chapter of the Acts? Don’t be fooled by this non-Bible “bible” that is obviously nothing more than a recruiting tool for the Hebrew Roots cult

“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.” Psalm 12:6,7 (KJV)

For over 400 years, the King James 1611 Authorized Version Holy Bible has stood not only the test of time, but as the place where God has chosen to preserve His word for an English-speaking world in the Church Age. It is literally the standard by which all other translations of the Bible are judged. The new Cepher ‘bible’ is the exact opposite of that, and is that something you need to prayerfully avoid.

According to the book’s publishers, the Cepher is not technically a bible because they say that the word Bible is a “pagan term”. But while they do not like to use the word “bible” they certainly want you to think of it as one. Their website says “The Cepher includes all the seventy-four books previously canonized as the Bible, as well as the book of Enoch, Jubilees from the Dead Sea Scrolls, and others.” Wow, that’s a lot of books. A lot of books that the Holy Spirit never made part of Holy Scripture. The addition of these books will do nothing to increase your Bible knowledge, but they will serve to greatly confuse you.

According to the publishers, the existing King James Bible is filled with errors, and is lacking the secret “sacred names” for God that the new Cepher version is miraculously able to restore. Sure sounds like the teachings of the Hebrew Roots cult movement to me. Below is a full listing of the “improvements” made by the Cepher:

The Hebrew word eth (את) means divine, and the Hebrew word cepher (ספר) means book, scroll, letter or writing. Hence, the את CEPHER is the “Divine Book.” This unique collection of sacred Scripture restores much of what has been removed and/or incorrectly interpreted in the Bible for centuries!

  • Sets forth a translation, rather than a substitution of the names of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • Transliterates over 3,100 other Hebrew names and places without substitution.
  • Includes the Aleph Tav (את) over 9,300 times, which have previously been omitted in other English translations.
  • Includes all of the 74 previously canonized books, plus another 13 books considered to be inspired and/or historically significant such as Chanok (Enoch) and Yovheliym (Jubilees) from the Dead Sea Scrolls, as well as Yashar (Jasher), 2-4 Ezra (Esdras), 1-2 Baruk and 1-4 Makkabiym (Maccabees) – all published in the chronological order of their writing.
  • Corrects the errors (for the first time) in Shiyr HaShiriym (Song of Solomon), Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 14, Zakaryahu (Zechariah) 5, Mattithyahu (Matthew) 23, and corrects several other notorious errors found in virtually all previous English translations.
  • Restores the 29th chapter of the Acts of the Apostles chronicling Paul’s journey to Spain.

Enoch, Jasher, the “missing” 29th chapter of the Acts? The “secret names” of God? Don’t be fooled by this non-Bible Cepher “bible” that is obviously nothing more than a recruiting tool for the Hebrew Roots cult. Stick with the Bible where God has preserved His word for the last 4 centuries since 1611. You can’t go wrong with the “word of a king”.

“Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?” Ecclesiastes 8:4 (KJV)
