Mysterious Unexplained Late Night Shrieking Sound Terrifying Oregon Neighborhood
Could it be someone’s brakes? Or maybe train tracks are nearby? A mysterious shrieking sound is baffling people in a neighborhood in Forest Grove, Oregon.
“For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.” Romans 8:22 (KJV)
EDITOR’S NOTE: These type of baffling and mysterious late night sounds have been happening not just in Oregon, but across America and all over the world. Some of them get explained eventually, but the vast majority remain a mystery. Is it the groaning of creation from Romans 8, or is it the arrival of the Nephilim from Matthew 24?
A resident recorded the sound; you can hear it below. One woman told KATU that the noise has woken her up several times. Another woman said she’s heard the noise for weeks and at all hours.

Officials do not know the source at this time. Dave Nemeyer, fire marshal of the Forest Grove Fire and Rescue in Forest Grove, Oregon, told ABC News that a resident described it as coming from the middle of the street. “It’s definitely a horrendous noise. I have no idea what the noise is. To me, it sounds like the sound of train tracks, that metal screeching sound, but there are no train tracks near her home … so that’s obviously ruled out.”
A water valve, a gas leak and wildlife are a few of the things that have already been ruled out. source
