KANSAS CITY SHOCKER: Another Police Officer Shot Dead In The Line Of Duty
KCTV-5 reports the officer shot in Kansas City, Kansas has died. Kansas City, Kan. Police Chief Terry Zeigler is set to speak at a news conference beginning at 4 p.m.
A police officer in Kansas City has been shot and killed. According to a tweet from Kansas City Police Chief Terry Zeigler the incident happened at 22nd and Haskell.
Kansas City CBS affiliate KCTV-5 reports multiple suspects are in custody.
The officer is in critical condition according to KCTV-5, which cited a police spokesperson.Citing a witness, the station says three or four people in a car were shooting in the officer’s direction and that the officer was shot while trying to apprehend a suspect.
