Earlier this year I posted about a bullion company in New Zealand which went bust: http://www.bullionbaron.com/2012/02/nz-co-bullion-buyer-dealertrader-goes.html

Since then the comments section of that post has been inundated with comments from readers in the Philippines (see Google trends) as it appears there is a scam being run with the same name as the NZ company.

I had the following overview provided from elsewhere a little while back:

There is a ‘scam’ going for a company claiming they are distributing money that was belong to the Marcos family (a family of ruler/dictator in Phillipine…rumour has it that they are VERY corruptive), that was claimed back by court action. This is a big ‘scam’, the company will asked you to fill form with your ID details and photo, in order to receive donation/contribution. Some say the form is used to create shill account with mobile phone provider, credit card, etc.

But there have been quite a few comments since. I have left the comments open and without moderation so that those falling victim or concerned about the scam can talk amongst themselves. Google translate is not very good at translating the comments. If anyone is able to read over the comments on the above linked post and make sure there are no comments in support of the scam (assuming it is) it would be very helpful… if a further description of the comments and what is happening could be provided I could add this information to the old post to help readers.
