Biden: The ‘affirmative task’ before us is to ‘create a new world order‘ … Vice President Joe Biden calls for the creation of a “new world order” at the Export Import Bank conference in Washington on April 5, 2013. – YouTube
Dominant Social Theme: We need a Brave New World.
Free-Market Analysis: When the alternative ‘Net Media writes of a “new world order,” the accusations regarding verbalizations of “conspiracy theory” come thick and fast. But when Vice President Joe Biden uses the same language, not a peep is heard.
Now, why is that? Could it be that the same people Joe Biden reports to virtually OWN the mainstream media. We can think of other explanations, but this is the most reasonable, if not most logical one.
Interestingly, when it comes time to verbalize the phrase, you can almost see old Joe thinking hard about what he is going to say. The use of the phrase was no accident.
So what is the point?
As always, to send a message. At a time when the offshore banking industry is being subject to a “take down,” those committed globalists that work hard with Biden – as he apparently shares the same views and goals – are no doubt trying to reinforce the message via rhetoric as well as actions.
Biden also speaks of leveling the playing field. By this we assume he means that West and East must be made even in terms of monetary and fiscal production, a process that is well underway as the BRICs are raised up even while the West is subject to policies of economic depression.
The end result is apparently to be the imposition of one-world currency, but Biden’s reference could also refer to protectionism. In fact, a combination of protectionism and economic leveling is the noxious brew that the Obama administration (like those before it) is probably serving up.
It is the same old recipe and it is one that libertarian thinkers have warned about for 300 years. On the plus side of the ledger, it does give us the justification to research and present some quotes from the great free-market mind of Frédéric Bastiat – who wrote extensively on the problems of protectionism:
