To any one of the billions affected by the collapse of Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers, the global real estate bubble popping or the Pan-European Sovereign debt crisis… To the 4.5 million people in Ireland at risk of losing your savings through your insolvent banks… To the millions of people who lost billions of dollars in Apple’s recent slide or the billions of people who profited from Google or have lost the same in Facebook…. If you have been benefitted from anything that I have said, written or done – you owe thanks and homage to this man who passed from this plane on Sunday, April 21st – Four days before his 74th birthday!
I haven’t been very productive lately. The passing of my father has been harder than I thought it would be. That is saying something, since I thought it would be pretty hard to begin with. So, as my readers, followers and clients have been asking me about my updated thoughts on EU banks, Apple and Google (who just reported) – I thought I’d actually post what I was going through via video. This is an uncanny view of who and what I came from, and who created the values and drive that I have today.
This not a video that any other investor, analyst or banker would dare post in public, but this is what I do, as a tribute to this man that I love, miss, and cry for.
This mini-documentary above is most interesting for it covers my father’s last bit of advice from his deathbed, banks and international affairs, my grandmother and plantations in the south, and an icon that truly demonstrates what the state of Black Manhood is in America today – the antithesis of what you see in American mainstream media.
I challenge one and all to contact your local TV and radio stations, newspapers and magazines and challenge them to run this versus the typical sport star cheating on his girlfriend story or the kids who robbed that liquor store. Let the truth come out!
