Today I would like to touch on a subject that for many of the readers on this blog I am sure will polarise opinions. I am a staunch supporter of the public sector and I believe that it deserves ample funding for key areas like Education, Health, and various infrastructure efforts. Now, I am Canadian so I find my public services to be more than adequate, and I am sure many areas in the US are up to par, but from what I can tell there is a problem with many public sector initiatives. I will speak to a Canadian context, but much of the message will apply across the border.
