Stillwater beats platinum and palladium production guidance

Stillwater Mining Company said its mined production of palladium and platinum totalled 127,100 oz for the first quarter of 2013, exceeding the company’s plan for the quarter.
Production was also up on a year before, when combined mine production of palladium and platinum totalled 120,800 oz. Stillwater restated its 2013 annual production target of 500,000 oz.
