CALGARY, ALBERTA–(Marketwired – April 19, 2013) - West High Yield (W.H.Y.) Resources Ltd. (“West High Yield” or the “Company”) (TSX VENTURE:WHY) announces the release of its financial results and the Management Discussion and Analysis (“MDA”) for the year ended December 31, 2012. The audited financial statements and related MDA for the year ended December 31, 2012 have been filed with Canadian securities regulatory authorities on SEDAR at www.sedar.com.

The Company commissioned SRK Consulting of Lakewood, Colorado (“SRK”) to prepare a Preliminary Economic Assessment (“PEA”) in respect of the Company’s Rossland, British Columbia magnesium property (the “Record Ridge South Property”). The Company expects to provide the PEA in May 2013.
