Bodycam chase footage: Deadly risk as suspect pulls loaded gun at Indiana cop in Evansville

A man who pulled a loaded gun at an officer of the Evansville Police Department was sentenced to 30 years on Tuesday after pleading guilty. The footage of the events filmed with the officer’s bodycam in March 17, 2014.
The incident began as police officers stopped a truck for speeding at Weinbach and Covert. Passenger Cornelius Ratliff took off running and was followed by one of the officers.
Ratliff apparently attempted to shoot the pursuing officer, but didn’t manage as the safety of the gun was still on, police reported.
