Anyone can start a business but few can create longevity and substantial abundance. In a day and age when many people are experiencing discontentment in their jobs and dissatisfaction with their chosen careers, there has been an uprising in spiritual consciousness. There is no better time than now to a start a spiritual practice.
Below are five keys essential to a successful spiritual business.
#1 BELIEVE – One of the biggest and most important steps we can take is the first step and that is to simply believe in ourselves. Letting go of our little ego, that inner voice that tells us either it can’t be done or that we are not good enough. Of course, it can be done! We are meant to succeed and to live our life with purpose.
Being honest with ourselves and working through our personal blocks sets the stage for success. Some of us have a fear of success or worries about our financial future. As a result, we cling to our comfort zone. Finding ways to stretch our comfort level by releasing those inhibiting thought patterns opens the pathway for our truest self to emerge. Experiencing a sense of fear is completely normal, yet finding the courage deep within ourselves to move past our insecurities and towards our future is what builds success.
#2 FOCUS – After we’ve decided to take our own leap of faith, it’s now time to focus on what we want to deliver. Are we providing a service, product or simply our personality? Discovering our unique edge and delivering it with purpose and power is achieved through focus.
It’s essential to keep it simple and straight to the point for our clients. They want to know what they are purchasing and it’s our responsibility to deliver it with absolute perfection and ease. There is no need to offer 10 services and create a complex system that is overwhelming and complicated to navigate. The simpler we can make it for the potential client, the more concrete results we will achieve.

#3 STRUCTURE – Now that we’ve decided on our delivery, it’s time to consider our business structure. What type of entity do we want to be? Each business foundation has its advantages and disadvantages. Having a conversation with our tax advisor to formulate a plan that is customized to our specific circumstances will help us in our decision making.
We want to avoid a structure that is not compatible with our long-term vision. Starting off on the right foot by understanding our reporting and legal compliance requirements can avoid major pitfalls and back tracking in the future.
#4 SOCIALIZE – Brag! Brag! Brag! If we don’t tell the world we have arrived, our clients won’t be able to find us. By connecting with our client in a way that makes them feel special, we show them that we care about our work.
As a result, we build loyalty. With modern technology, it’s never been easier to find our tribe. Now is not the time to be shy. It’s our turn to step out onto the stage of life and own it!
#5 INTEGRITY – Always work with integrity. Avoiding any traps of success or indulging in circumstances that create temptation will allow us to work both genuinely and authentically. In the interest of true healing and service to spirit, we must always work with integrity and ethics.
