Bausch Lomb Launches Recycle Your Contact Lens Program

This is great news with thousands of daily, monthly and yearly contact lenses going into landfills everyday an actual contact lens recycling program. While there are several companies that you can recycle your contact lens cases and the aluminum from blister packs can be recycled, there is not an easy way until now.

With over 30 Million people in the United States wearing contact lens, well lets just say it’s eye-boggling the amount of trash.

Bausch + Lomb just launched a FREE recycling program, known as #ONEbyONE, allowing customer to recycle used Biotrue ONEday contact lenses and other Bausch + Lomb contact lenses and blister packs. The Partnership is with TerraCycle. Terracycle is leader in the recycling and reusing of waste.
